2. Website Use

You agree to:

• use this website lawfully;
• provide accurate information;
• not interfere with website security;
• not attempt to hack or damage the website;
• not upload viruses or malicious software; and
• not misuse enquiry forms.

We may restrict or terminate access where misuse occurs.

3. Quotes

Quotes provided through this website:

• are free unless stated otherwise;
• are estimates only;
• are subject to availability;
• do not reserve a booking;
• may expire after 30 days; and
• may change if requirements change.

A booking only exists once the required deposit has been paid and our Client Service Agreement has been accepted.

4. Venue Sourcing & Introduction Service

Where EHS is asked to source or introduce a venue as part of an EHS wedding package, venue research, sourcing and supplier introductions form part of our professional service.

During the complimentary quotation stage, we may provide:

• the general venue area;
• guest capacity;
• venue style and relevant facilities;
• availability for the requested date; and
• the applicable EHS package price.

The venue name, exact address, postcode, website, social media details and identifiable photographs are not released at this stage.

The £150 pays for the agreed sourcing and introduction service. Once completed, EHS releases the venue name and relevant details so you can review the venue and, where applicable, arrange a viewing.

If you proceed with the applicable EHS wedding package, the £150 is credited towards your agreed package total and is not added on top.

If EHS completes the agreed service and releases the venue details but you then choose not to continue with the wider wedding package, the £150 is not automatically refundable solely because you decide not to proceed. It relates to the sourcing and introduction service already provided. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

If EHS cannot provide the agreed service, any applicable refund or remedy will be handled under the relevant EHS terms and your statutory consumer rights.

The £150 does not reserve, secure or book the venue. A venue or wedding booking is secured only once the required booking conditions and payments are completed and confirmation is provided.

This process applies only to EHS wedding packages where EHS sources or introduces the venue. It does not apply where you already have a venue or to separate celebration packages unless agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Services

We provide:

• event decoration;
• wedding styling;
• balloon and party styling;
• event planning;
• venue sourcing and introductions for applicable wedding packages;
• venue dressing;
• hire equipment; and
• bespoke event design.

All services remain subject to availability.

6. Inspiration Photos

Website images are examples of previous work. Final setups may vary because of venue layout, space restrictions, health and safety requirements, supplier availability, weather, lighting or product availability.

Minor design changes may be made where necessary.

7. Pricing

Displayed prices may change without notice and exclude bespoke requests, venue hire and third-party services unless stated as included.

All final prices are confirmed in writing.

8. Intellectual Property

EHS website materials include our branding, written content, photographs, videos, graphics, designs, brochures, pricing structures and downloadable documents.

Protected material may not be copied, reproduced, edited or used commercially without written permission.

9. Photography

Unless agreed otherwise, we may photograph completed event setups for our website, social media, advertising, brochures and portfolio.

Clients may opt out before the event. We will not knowingly publish identifiable images of children without appropriate consent.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to social media platforms, suppliers and partner venues. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content.

11. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our control may affect availability.

12. Accuracy

We take reasonable care to keep information accurate, but mistakes may occur and prices, stock or services may change. We may correct errors.

13. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EHS shall not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profits, business interruption, consequential loss, reliance on website information, third-party websites or temporary website downtime.

14. Booking Terms

Website use does not replace our Client Service Agreement. For confirmed bookings, the accepted Client Service Agreement takes precedence in relation to the specific event and booking.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. Booking Deposits

Booking deposits are used to reserve your event date and allow EHS to begin committing time, resources and, where applicable, third-party suppliers to your booking.

Deposits may contribute towards:

• reserving your event date;
• planning time and consultations;
• supplier commitments;
• staff allocation;
• design preparation; and
• booking administration.

If you cancel, some or all of a booking deposit may be retained where permitted by law and where reasonable to reflect costs, commitments or losses arising from the cancellation.

Any cancellation charge or amount retained will remain subject to your Client Service Agreement, the circumstances of the cancellation and applicable consumer law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

2. £150 Venue Sourcing & Introduction Payment

This section applies specifically to EHS wedding packages where Events Hype Squad is asked to source or introduce a wedding venue.

Once the £150 Venue Sourcing & Introduction stage has been completed, EHS releases the venue identity and relevant venue details so you can review the venue and, where applicable, arrange a viewing.

If you proceed with the applicable EHS wedding package, the £150 is credited towards your agreed package total. It is not an additional £150 added on top of the quoted package price.

If EHS has completed the agreed Venue Sourcing & Introduction Service and released the venue details, but you then choose not to proceed with the wider EHS wedding package, the £150 is not automatically refundable solely because you decide not to continue. The payment relates to the sourcing and introduction service already provided.

If you cancel before the agreed sourcing and introduction service has been fully completed, any refund or deduction will depend on the work already carried out, any applicable statutory cancellation rights and the circumstances of the cancellation.

If EHS is unable to provide the agreed Venue Sourcing & Introduction Service, any applicable refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with our terms and your statutory consumer rights.

3. Client Cancellations

If you cancel a confirmed booking, a cancellation charge may apply depending on the circumstances, work already carried out, costs or commitments already incurred and how close the cancellation is to the event date.

Where bespoke products, third-party services or other event-specific costs have already been ordered or committed, the reasonable unrecoverable costs may remain payable where permitted by law.

Any cancellation charge will be handled in accordance with your accepted Client Service Agreement and applicable consumer law.

4. Postponements

Where reasonably possible, EHS will try to transfer your booking to an alternative date.

Any transfer remains subject to:

• EHS availability;
• venue availability;
• supplier availability;
• the nature of services already ordered or committed; and
• any reasonable additional costs arising from the change.

A postponement or date transfer cannot be guaranteed.

5. Bespoke & Personalised Items

Bespoke or personalised items may become non-refundable once ordering or production has started to the extent that EHS has incurred costs which cannot reasonably be recovered.

This may include:

• personalised signs and printed items;
• custom backdrops;
• personalised balloons;
• custom vinyl;
• bespoke décor; and
• special-order materials.

6. Refund Eligibility

A refund or other appropriate remedy may apply where:

• EHS is unable to provide the agreed service;
• the service has not been provided as agreed and consumer law provides a remedy;
• a statutory cancellation or refund right applies; or
• EHS and the client agree an alternative arrangement in writing.

A refund will not normally arise solely because of a change of mind after an agreed service has already been properly completed. Any amount retained will remain subject to the applicable contract terms and consumer law.

Factors outside EHS control, such as venue restrictions, adverse weather, client or venue delays and force majeure circumstances, will be handled according to the specific circumstances, the Client Service Agreement and applicable law.

7. Distance & Off-Premises Cancellation Rights

Where applicable law gives you a statutory cancellation or cooling-off right for a contract entered into online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance or away from our business premises, EHS will honour that right.

If you expressly ask EHS to begin providing a service during an applicable statutory cancellation period, the consequences of cancelling after work has started will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law. This may include payment for services already supplied where the law permits.

Nothing in this policy removes any cancellation right you are legally entitled to exercise.

8. Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment, invoice, refund or cancellation charge is incorrect, please contact EHS promptly so that we can review the matter.

We encourage clients to contact us directly before starting a payment dispute or chargeback so that we have an opportunity to investigate and respond.

9. Consumer Rights

Services supplied by EHS are subject to applicable consumer law, including requirements relating to reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or overrides rights or remedies which cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
